CedarCliff: Supreme Court Research

Getting Started

Welcome! This research guide was created for Mrs. Anderson's English class. On this guide, you will find helpful resources on the First Amendment, Supreme Court cases, and other legal research.

If you need any help, feel free to reach out to Kirsten Setzkorn, the Humanities Librarian.

Researching @ CU Library

As a high school student, you are welcome to visit Centennial Library and use our online resources!

Using Campus Computers

To log in to a computer at the Library or any other computer lab on campus, enter your guest username and password. (These will be printed on a sheet of paper for you and stay valid for 30 days).

If you lose your login info, just visit the Library Service Desk and ask for a new temporary login.

Using Campus Wifi

If you are using your own laptop or tablet, you can connect to CU's wifi network called "cu-events". Ask Kirsten or the Library Service Desk for the password. alexander1977

Researching Off-Campus

Use your temporary username and password when prompted to access library databases off-campus.  If you have trouble accessing content, feel free to email me!

Researching via INFOhio

If you are unable to visit Cedarville University's library to conduct research, you can access similar online resources via INFOhio. INFOhio is free to all K-12 students in Ohio.

View all INFOhio databases for Grades 9-12 here. I recommend using:

  • Academic Search Premier
  • Very Short Introductions
  • World Book Advanced
  • Oxford Research Encyclopedias
  • Points of View Reference Center
