All Canvas courses at Cedarville have a Library Resources link in the left-side course navigation. This link is always visible by default, although you can hide it if desired.
Having library resources linked in Canvas in a consistent location across all courses is ideal. Students know exactly where to go to access library materials, seek research help, and learn search skills. The Library Resources link brings these resources to your students, automatically!
The Library Resources link will always display one of two things:
By default, the library link displays a general Library Help Page featuring commonly sought information and tools such as library hours, OneSearch, and how to get help from a librarian.
Another option is to display a custom research guide for your course in Canvas. Your librarian will automatically set up a connection between their course guide and your Canvas course once a guide is completed. If for some reason, your custom course guide is not displaying in Canvas, please contact your librarian.
The Library Resources link will appear in Canvas by default. If you would like to remove it, follow these steps:
