If you would like library research guides to appear in specific places within your Canvas course, rather than in the Library Resources link, you can manually embed content using an app in the Rich Text editor.
- Select a the module or page within your Canvas course where you want the research guide content to appear, or create a new module
- Click the
button to begin modifying the page and the Rich Text Editor appears
- Click the plugin icon at the end of the toolbar
- In the popup box, scroll down until you see LibApps Library Content or search "Library" or "LibApps"
- In the LibGuides Site dropdown menu, select Research Guides - libguides.cedarville.edu
- In the Content Type menu, choose if you want to display a full guide, a single page, or a specific box.
- Whether you choose Full Guide, Single Page, or Context Box, the next step will be to search and select the guide you want to display. Type the course code (i.e. LIT 2390) to quickly and easily a course guide.
- If you are embedding a specific guide page or guide box, menus will appear to allow you to select this content. If you embed a full guide, you can select a “Guide Page” if you want to change the default landing page.
- Click Embed Content and you’re done!
