Research Proposal Topic

Expectations: Work with your lab group to brainstorm a topic for your research proposal.  The results of your brainstorming and work should answer the questions below.  You can copy and paste these "format clues" into a Word Document.  Then save your document as a .pdf file before submission.  You can make one for your group, but each group member should submit a copy.  Be sure your submission has all of your names on it.

Questions to Answer:

  1. What is the research question you are trying to answer It's ok to be a little vague, but you need some kind of starting point.
  2. How do you propose to answer this question?  This represents your experimental design and should just be a summary; a paragraph is fine.
  3. Give me at least 4 references that your group used to get ideas about your proposal topic.
