INFOhio is a collection of databases that are free to all K-12 students in Ohio:

JSTOR is an academic database that also contains open and free content, including journal articles and ebooks:

If you sign up for a free personal account with JSTOR, you can read up to 100 articles every 30 days for free, even for articles that are not open access:

PubMed Central (Covers Health Sciences)

PubMed Central is a free database containing medical and psychology journal articles sponsored by the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).

Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) (Covers Education)

ERIC is a free database containing education journal articles and other research sources sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. You can limit your search to peer-reviewed articles and full-text availability.
