Hierarchy of Credibility

When it comes to source credibility, the more that a source is reviewed and verified by others (typically professionals) the more reliable a source should be. These established professionals (e.g., editorial board) and rigorous processes (e.g., peer-review) take the necessary time required to verify the truth of the claims a source makes and either affirms or rejects the source based on the findings.
