Research Lockers

Application and Selection

  • Research lockers are intended for students required to complete a major research project, seminar, capstone, or independent study project as part of a university course. 
  • All interested students must complete an application to be eligible to be assigned a locker.
  • Priority of selected students will be based on project requirements, the potential use of library physical materials, and the order in which applications are submitted. 
  • Not every applicant may be granted a locker.

Regulations for Research Locker Use

  • Assigned student is responsible for all materials in research lockers
  • Library materials stored in research lockers must be properly checked out at the Service Desk. No reference books or periodicals may be stored there. 
  • The library is not responsible for personal items left in lockers. 
  • Do not store perishable items in the lockers.
  • The library has the right to review locker contents at any time. 
  • Any damage to the research locker is the responsibility of the assigned student. 

 

Failure to abide by these regulations will result in immediate forfeiture of the privilege to use a research locker.
