Journal: A journal is a publication that releases at a regular interval a collection of researched, scholarly articles on a specific subject. The best way to access journal articles is by searching the databases or by searching within a specific journal that the library has access to.
Examples: Journal of Biblical Literature, Vetus Testamentum
The following are examples of journals provided by the professor that may be helpful for your paper.
There are many other journals that may contain helpful articles for your paper. You can identify the journal that published an article in the details section in CU Discover.
If you would like to do a keyword search within a journal, you can do the following:
1. On the CU Discover page, search for the journal you want to explore.
2. Select the "More" button from the top ribbon, and click on "Journal Search."
3. You can search for a journal by title or keyword. When you find a journal that you would like to search in, select it.
4. If the journal makes their articles available online, then there will be a "Search Inside" option. You can enter any keyword, topic, or title, and it will search all the articles that the journal has published.
