EXSC 4600: Research Methods

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If you find articles that Centennial Library does not have access to, please feel free to reach out to the Health Sciences Librarian, or fill out an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request form. ILL allows Cedarville to request books, articles, and other materials from libraries across the nation that are not available through our institution. Articles can be sent electronically and should arrive within one to three days, while print resources can take up to a week to arrive. Take advantage of this resource for hard-to-find materials.

Writing Center

Visit Cedarville University's Writing Center. The tutors there can help you brainstorm initial ideas, discuss how to outline and organize your paper, draft or revise your thesis, identify the strengths and weaknesses of your paper, and assist with citations. Appointments can be done in person or virtually through an easy, online scheduling system.

OhioLINK

OhioLINK is a service that allows Centennial Library to borrow books from other academic institutions located in Ohio. This resource is helpful for obtaining books that are not available through Cedarville, reference books that are not available for check-out, and books at Cedarville that are already checked-out by another patron. OhioLINK is an excellent resource to gain access to physical items such as books, journals, and dissertations. Materials typically arrive within 3-5 work days. If you would like to see what materials are available through OhioLINK, simply use the OhioLINK tab on the library website. Please contact the Health Sciences Librarian with any questions.
