How to Use this Guide

Browse each tab for recommended books, articles, and virtual exhibits.  These lists will jumpstart your research for the essays.

To read or get more information about any item, click on its title:

Article links will take you directly to the article to read online.

Book links will take you to the book's record to see if it is available, on reserve, or checked out.

If you are an on-campus student:

Some books are on reserve in the Library, meaning the books must be used in the library only.  Other CU books are available for checkout. If you ever come across a CU book, but it's already checked out, click the Search OhioLINK button in the top right corner.

To request OhioLINK books, click the green request button, choose Cedarville University, and enter your name and library ID number.

If you are an off-campus student:

Look specifically for ebooks, online exhibits, and articles -- all of which you can access online easily. You can also search Google Books for book snippets and previews that could assist your research.

If you live near CU or another OhioLINK library, you can request OhioLINK books to be sent to the library nearest you.
